I'm feeling generous today.
For my first giveaway, yes that means there will be more down the road, I've decided to give away this Portable Toy Box-
The bear and cup are not included, unless you would like to take on the wrath of my daughter. Who knows, I may even throw in a fabric scrap pack or something along with it... All you have to do is leave a comment here and I'll randomly pick one as the winner. You have until midnight tonight (Saturday) so start leaving comments! I'll let you know who won on Monday, the 24th.
I have to share a funny story with you. I was reading a blog from Sommer Designs (Carrie) and a picture she had posted triggered a memory. Does that ever happen to you? It's amazing to me that in a split second an image can just jump start your brain and take you back so far as if it had just happened. Ok, enough of that, let's get to the story right? Carrie had posted a mosaic with lots of pictures and one of them was of a sticker of "I heart San Francisco". That's what triggered the memory for me. All the way back to 2nd grade. We lived in Louisiana at the time and went to a private school right across the state line in Mississippi. My teacher had been on vacation and when she came back, she was telling us all about her exciting trip to California. San Francisco to be exact. At the end she said she had a surprise for each of us. Everyone got a sticker that said "I heart SF!" Why is this so important? My name is Sara and my maiden name is Freeman. I didn't get the whole SF meaning San Francisco. My wide eyes just thought everyone loved ME! Even the boys and especially the little boy I had a crush on. I suppose the teacher didn't have the heart to tell me the truth because she never corrected me when I shouted, "Everyone loves me!" It was a great day indeed :)
Now leave a comment people and show me some real love.

I hope since it's 11:39 your time that my comment still counts! :) Woo hoo!

Oh I just love giveaways! How fun it would be to win this toybox as I've been wanting one and totally missed your 30% off coupon sale since I was away at the Ladies Retreat with our church.
Love the idea of featuring fellow crafters, I just may have to follow suit! :)

Got up early to register, because I think these portable toy boxes are the PERFECT gift idea for my daughter-in-law! I've E-mailed her mom and others, so they too can have a chance to win...Wonderful idea, Sara!

Been meaning to follow-up with you about the handbag you made for me and figure now's a good time! ;-)
I just wanted to let you know how many compliments I get on my Every Day Mad Bag! With your help (and a lot of it, I admit - I'm very indecisive!) I picked the Black Illusions fabric. *Every* where I carry it (and I carry it all the time) someone comments on what a cool bag it is. And it is! It's held up exceptionally well too. I'm a SAHM to 2 kids and that bag has seen some abuse but you'd never know it by looking at it! It's the *perfect* size for everything I need in a day-to-day basis and it's such a cute bag that I actually like carrying it - snacks, wipes and all!!
Now that Spring is here, I have to start thinking about something with lighter and brighter colors. While I'll miss my curent Mad Bag while I store it away, I'm looking forward to checking out the Springy fabrics at Mad Bag!

I honeymooned in San Francisco, so I definitely {heart} SF!
Reminds me of how I used to think too there was a reporter who moved every time my family did (and apparently followed us, but since this was pre- creepy stalkerish days, it was all good) . . . because every city we moved to had "The Dow Jones Report" on the evening news . . ..

I grew up in Modesto, Calif. We would go on drives to San Fran....I loved driving up and down the streets(very steep, streets!) The homes are interesting too! Very tall and very close together.

Hi Sara!
I would love to win the portable toy box...my oldest stepson and his wife just had twin girls 5 months ago, that would be a perfect gift for them! I bought three of your bags from Etsy a few years ago, you might remember, you made a 'labrador' pattern small tote for me...all your bags have held up beautifully!
Thanks,
Kelly

Your portable toyboxes are so lovely! When we got ours, my son's eyes got all wide and he whispered "wow!" And he seemed to know what it was for because he immediately took it and started filling it with toys!
I really need to get a few more of these for my fellow moms. :)

Have a great weekend!

This is absolutely adorable! I've got a friend with a button maker. I think I'll have her make a few buttons with "I <3 KC" on them and hand them out to friends. Then everyone will be in love with me! :D Cute memory!

Ok... I'm TOTALLY in love with these toy boxes, and the fact that you are a fellow MS girl just makes them all the more yummy! (ok, so I'm currently transplanted one state over in AL... but I'm still a MS girl at heart :)!)

Had to tell you that Brenda's "Tie Bibs" are the cutest! Loved her site (am thinking of ordering some of her earrings, they are so dainty!)...wish I had just a little bit of your (Sara's & Brenda's) creative talent!!! You'd think that if we shared the same name, we should have a little bit of creativity in common...Ha! Hope everyone has a wonderful Spring!
