And Mad made me take her picture with it. Both her and Jaden think bulls are so funny. We ate at Sante Fe yesterday for lunch and as soon as we got close to it, she started giggling and saying look at that bull mom! It always goes downhill from there. There is another restaurant in town called Mi Toros (one of my favs, and THE BEST mexican place to eat). In the parking lot is another bull but sometimes if you park in the right spot, you will end up facing the rear of the bull if you get my drift. Jaden always has to point out how we are parked in the bull's butt. So what does Maddie yell out when we get close to Santa Fe's bull yesterday? Yep, Look at that bull's butt! I was so embarrassed but thankfully no one was around to hear it. Of course I'm telling you all now though huh?
I also wanted to show you my lilies! They are starting to bloom- Lilies are one of my favorite plants and I love the bright yellow color of them. O and I don't have to do anything special to keep them alive. This is very important, since as I've said in the past, I tend to kill anything green.
Here's an update to the watermelon plants that the kids and Paul planted. First thing in the morning, they head out to the back porch to look at them. They are steadily growing and soon will be put into the ground. Hopefully they will still grow once they are put into the clay we call dirt around here.
I'm hoping to post a coupon tomorrow for Market Street on Saturday so check back.
Have a great week!
i have a picture of chase sitting on the bull...hee hee! i love your lilies!

Dear Sara,
You were too young to know this about your grandmother (mee mee) who has passed now. She passed away when you were pretty young.
The point is that I never knew you liked lilies...here is what has touched me about this post. My mother, your grandmother (mee mee) when she was alive had hundreds of yellow lilies planted in her big beautiful yard. They were her favorite thing in her yard to look at. It amazes me that you love them too. When we moved from Louisiana to Michigan after mee mee died I uprooted two of her lilies to remind me of her and then when we moved from Michigan to Mississippi I put them in the u-haul and they died while we were in transit because it took us so long to find a house to buy. It meant a lot to me to see them blooming there in Michigan. They really were pretty. I know I will enjoy so much coming to your home and seeing your lilies blooming. I planted some here behind my house and I love seeing them bloom every year too. But they are not yellow. Mama had the yellow ones. I said all this to say that I think God planned for you to have pretty yellow lilies in your yard just to make me smile every time I see them..and that's no bull..
love you, MOM
